Rogers ------------ In the Year Two Thousand and Seven. ------------ AN ACT RELATIVE TO PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY FOR PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT SERVICES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 9 of Chapter 118E of the General Laws, as amended by Chapter 211 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by inserting, after the words "long-term care needs of the individuals," the following:- The division is hereby authorized to grant presumptive eligibility for up to 60 days to a person applying for long term care in said program only for the purposes of providing personal care attendant services for the individual.
